Featured Artist: Kris of Lisianblue

Love hand painted glassware? Adore hand painted ornaments? It is hard not to! Check out this artist's gallery and you won't regret it! Kris, the artist behind Lisianblue, is very creative. Her creativity not only shows in her work, but also in the way she came up with her business name. Kris loves blue lisianthus flowers so she combined the name of that flower and color to form the name for her gallery. Isn't that great? I absolutely love the idea!

What can you find lingering on her site? My goodness... an awful lot of beauties that is for sure! Check out the amazing piece of painted glassware below:

Be sure to click on the photo if you are interested in checking the price for the pretty vase.

Kris has many other hand painted items as well. If you are interested in hand painted stained glass - I have the right piece for you! Check this one out below... I love it because the beautiful paint work reminds me of a slice of agate:

Pretty neat huh? She also has some ornaments and all sorts of other goodies, including knitted items, for sale on her site. So please, have a look-sy will ya?

Featured Artist: Todd of Tmusichans

I am rather excited to feature this artist for two reasons: I have never featured a pottery artist and I have yet to feature a male! So who is Todd of Tmusichans? He is an elementary school music specialist (23 years!) with a love of pottery.

Todd has taken several pottery classes and you can tell by his work - he truly enjoys pottery. He has an Etsy shop where several of his pieces are displayed. The item in the picture above is already sold, but I fell in love with it and had to post it anyways!

Todd has several peace sign pendants available on his site also! This particular pendant is made from terra cotta clay and then hand painted. He has several pendants in all sorts of colors and patterns available already made on his site, but he is happy to make a custom pendant should you need one!

I love this vase! It reminds me of something, which was made centuries ago, that could be found lurking in a museum . I'd love to stick some Texas bluebonnets or Indian paintbrushes in this vase and put it on my counter top.

This is probably my most favorite item in his shop, too bad it has been sold. I love how he captured not the entire image of Buddha, but simply his eyes and nose. Eyes, open or closed, can say so much about an image. Doesn't Buddha seem quite at peace? Hmm images at peace...peace signs... I am sensing a pattern here :)

Featured Artist: Staci aka Foogirl of Crazy Insanity Creations

I have featured so many artists to this point, but none of them have had the wild style of Foogirl! Now... I do not want wild to seem like it is a bad thing - it is exactly opposite! Staci (aka Foogirl) has such an interesting style! The first picture I have listed here does not give away how different her work is. Her work isn't just different, but EXTREMELY clever! A bunch of her pieces made me think, "huh... I never thought to combine an item that way!" Not sure what I mean? You will after check out her site! If you like that ring above click on the image to be taken to her Etsy shop to purchase this item.

Oh my goodness! I absolutely LOVE giraffes! As soon as I seen this image I had to put it up on my blog! Isn't it adorable?? Staci used polymer clay to form this cutie pie and placed him on a green bamboo cord...which sort of reminds me of grass haha. This little guy is hard to look at and NOT smile - isn't he?

This is one of the items from Staci's shop that made me think, "wow I never thought to do that before" when I found it. What is it you ask? It's a shoestring! Is that not creative or what?! Now you see what I mean. Staci is an extremely talented woman.

If you are interested in learning more about the featured artist you can visit her Etsy shop, Facebook page, or her blog!

Featured Artist: Dana of 31 Summers

The first thing that caught my eye about Dana's blog and Etsy shop is her love for vintage. As you all know by now I am in love with anything vintage... so I spent quite some time drooling over her shop. This cute little fairy bottle is what caught my eye first:

Isn't it adorable? It is quite amazing to me how a piece of lace can turn this plain glass bottle into such a beauty! What do you think?

After looking over her sites, I began to quickly fall in love with the large amount soft hues and gentle materials she used to give her precious goodies just the right added appeal. See for yourself!

Don't forget, by clicking on the image you will be directed to her store! So the question now is... since everything is obviously so beautiful and we want all of them... which do we 'need' haha?

Featured Artist: Debbie of Flower and Bud Jewelry

After reading over the first paragraph of Debbie's profile, I couldn't help but laugh! Debbie states she is addicted to beading and might need an intervention! Hah! Love it! And boy oh boy... don't we all need an intervention - I'm with you Debbie! Debbie has shop full of wonderful goodies on her Etsy shop, which can be found under Flower and Bud Jewelry.

Debbie has quite a line of beautifully made rosaries and rosary bracelets. Quite a lot of work goes into making a rosary - trust me I made one as a gift for someone in the past! As time consuming and tedious as rosaries are - you can see from Debbie's work it is well worth the effort.

One of my favorite things about Debbie's work is how soft and elegant each of her pieces are. All of her colors are gentle and quite appealing.

Oh and by the way... if you are interested in purchasing any of her goodies, please click the pictures to be taken to her online shop! Just tell her a fellow HAFer sent ya :)

Featured Artist: Designs by Shauna

Well it is round two for the blog ring I am participating in (HAF website) and do I have a goodie in store for you all! Shauna, of Designs by Shauna, is a remarkable person! She is a mom of two daughters and apparently a huge Buckeye fan (OSU)! You can tell she loves her team since she has a section on her etsy site which is dedicated to Buckeye colors for other fans! Her shop even has a section dedicated to little girls - no doubt inspired by her daughters! Besides making jewelry, it seems Shauna and I have something else in common... we both love to use Swarovski crystals and pearls in our work!

Ok.. ok.. I have talked enough! Let me stop teasing you all and show you a picture of her work to keep you interested, but only just a peek!

Aren't they gorgeous? They are simple, yet very elegant. I found these dangling beauties on her blog.

Shauna's blog is absolutely adorable all the way around. Her blog gives off a soft, nurturing glow which I like to associate with pearls and mommies (haha strange I know); by this I mean her blog gives off a peaceful feeling.

Her etsy shop is packed full of wonderful... goodness for everyone from OSU fans down to darling little girls. If you don't believe me - stop in and say hello.

Before I sign off, let me post a few more pictures for you all. If you are interested in an item, just click the photo and you will be taken directly to her etsy shop. Enjoy!

Interested yet? I knew you would be!

Featured Artist: TamsJewelry

What is it about bikers? It seems many people assume they are all so rough and tumble? If that was the case... how does a biker chic make such amazingly delicate jewelry?! Tammy definitely does just that - makes amazing jewelry. If you don't believe me then read on.

When I visited her Etsy shop I "accidentally" spent quite some time looking at well... everything haha (yes I've made a wishlish)! I have a close friend like Tammy; this friend loves motorcycles and pretty jewelry so I will definitely pass her websites along to my friend Pat. I am personally a huge fan of turquoise, which is all over her site. Here is a pic of a beautiful pair of stitched turq earrings:
Aren't they beautiful? I thought so too! Her Etsy store isn't the only place she has items up for sale. She has items up for sale at the Handmade Artists Shop, on Zibbet, and even Artfire. Also, iff you are interested in getting to know more about Tammy you can visit her blog as well - just tell her a fellow HAFer sent ya!
